Raw Smoothies

This past January my sister and I decided to see if we could go totally raw and eat nothing but raw smoothies, and fresh carrot juice. We had been puttin git off becasue we were not sure we could do it…we had been vegan for a few years, but not near raw. We were rather addicted to our roasted veggies with coconut oil and sauteed veggies on Ezekial wraps.  We began researching the online smoothie sites and ordered Victoria’s book about Raw Smoothies (rawfamily.com). My favorite smoothie for lunch is as follows:

Mixed Berry Smoothie:

1-2 c of filtered water

1 1/2c frozen mixed berries

1/2 c frozen pineapple

1 oragnic fresh banana

1/4 c raw sunflower seeds

1 T ground flax seed

1T organic Hemp seed

1 scoop raw Sun Warrior vanilla protein powder

1 c organic greens ( spinach, roamine , kale etc.)

1-2 stalks of oganic celery

1 small bunch broccoli

Blend it all together…I like to put mine int he freezer till slushy before enjoying…that way it lasts longer. I feel like I am having 2 quarts of sherbert!! ENJOY!!
